Easyway – ITS freight platform in sub-urban areas connecting motorway to local road networks

Study focused on improving safety and mobility on the European road network through the deployment of the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

The study provides reference guidelines for the subsequent feasibility of a freight platform in peripheral areas between the motorway, interurban and urban road network.

The project identified technological elements for facilitating the information exchange among road users, public administrations, roads and highway operators.
