Aosta General Urban Traffic Plan

Municipality of Aosta selected through a call of tender Metis Consortium and TRT to draw up its General Urban Traffic Plan.

The city of Aosta (about 35000 inhabitants), gathers on its own 27% of regional population and plays the  role of attractor of the regional mobility due to significant concentration of economic activities and services.

Quantitative and qualitative analysis regarding transport sector and the environmental, economical and social impacts;

Selection of measures according to the Municipality, local stakeholders and citizens;

Identifying the priorities and implement the microsimulation model (AIMSUN) in order to technical and environmental assessments of the proposed solutions regarding specific issues.

The Urban Mobility Plan has been approved by the Municipality (15/3/2011).
