Update of the external cost handbook

An ex-post evaluation of transport infrastructure charging policy: update of the external cost handbook and impact assessment of future legislative proposals

The project is articulated in two stages.

A first part of the project dealt with the ex-post assessment of the impacts deriving from the application of  the “Eurovignette Directive” which sets the framework for road user charging policy at the European level.

The second part of the project carried out an ex-ante impact assessment of the future legislative proposals for road infrastructure charging that will be presented to the European Parliament and the Council.
