ELTISplus Project

ELTISplus facilitated the exchange of information, knowledge and experiences in the field of urban transport and mobility.

It carried out the definition of systems and procedures shared by the different partners aimed at drawing up planning Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP), providing recommendations, elaborating methodological tools, developing training activities for local decision makers.

TRT provided interface between the portal and all players interested in best practices on sustainable urban transport systems and coordinating promotion and dissemination of ELTIS contents.

Among the main output of the project, specific guidelines on how to develop and implement a SUMP were prepared. Their main targets were :

• practitioners in urban transport and mobility, as well as other stakeholders who would be involved in the development and implementation of a SUMP;
• a clear roadmap of the process of how to prepare a SUMP.
